Forgot my camera yesterday to post an update. I filled in the fresh air intake on the passenger side outer cowl as I plan on running a VA setup. Which one, I don't know yet. Door gaps were OK but spent hours and hours getting them better. A bit more work and they should be almost perfect. I have a bit more done on fixing the gaps since that picture below was taken.
![]() Below is the crap inner to outer cowl piece. I had to cut and weld it multiple times to get it to fit the way I wanted it to fit. ![]() More of the inner to outer cowl panel. I made some pieces with my new bead roller to match up with the beads on the inner cowl panel. They matched up close before..........NOT! ![]() ![]() All welded up and epoxy primed. Ready for a final coating before it gets covered up never to be seen again for another 60 yrs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Inside area coated with and ready to be covered up with the outer cowls. ![]() ![]()
