Seriously though, looking good. I've owned and driven a couple tbi trucks in my life, and despite their low horsepower ratings and entire lack of power above 4000rpm, they never fail to dissapoint in tq, fuel economy, or fun. In fact, when I detuned my 383, I had my freshly-purchased 1992 c1500 in mind. I wanted a strong midrange powerband. from 1500-4000. You can really feel that on the street.

EDIT: ALSO, I have a buddy with a 1993 c1500 with a TBI 350 and 340,000 miles on it. The truck still runs like a top. The engine has never been touched. He doesn't even change oil in it as frequently as I would
Haha...thanks! Yeah, I need to get my bearings about me and start making some progress again. I think I'll be happy with this choice...If I ever get to experience it running again
