Silverado to C/10 Swap

I've been trying to piece together what all this swap will entail by reading all the swap posts, but they seem to dance around my project without being clear, so I thought I would just ask.

I have a 2005 Silverado single cab with an 6.0l/auto 2WD with about 97k miles on it.

I have a 1969 C/10 SWB with 87 front spindles, lt1, 700r4, also 2WD.

Based on what I have researched, and by looking at both trucks, it seems like I can just unbolt the engine, transmission, and rear end from the 07, and bolt it into the 1969. Bolt up the front suspension, and what works from the rear, and I'll be good to go.

The LT1 and 700r4 went really easy, so I hope this will too.

Is it as easy as it looks to be, or am I missing something. Obviously, Murphy will stick his head out, but other than that?
