disc conversion woes

I'm in the middle of the swap, and as soon as I finally got these $#@%&* ball joints loose, I see the fitting on the brake line is smaller than the threads on the new hose. I have the upgrade kit from CPP with the 73-87 balljoints & tie rods--is that why?
So, would it be better to cut & "re-flute" the line with a new fitting, or get a whole new line?
