I did that, and one thing I did that I thought was pretty neat (if I do say so myself) was get a hex nut that fit the bar and welded it in the middle of the bar to help make any adjustments easier. Turns out it spun like butter with the new joints, but it still looks kinda cool, haha.

For the panhard bar, I'm using the PorterBuilt bar, it just came minus some heim joints, misalignment spacers and hardware . That's a good idea on the hex nut in the middle though, I usually use the hex head tube adapters then I have one on each side.
