Parts interchangability question

When I first got my 1970 Stepside, my goal was to get the 350 that was in it running. Well that has now snowballed into a fuller roller 383 with AFR heads and now I have decided to put a serpentine belt system on it from a 1990 Chevy truck. I have a new water pump and alternator that will not work with the serpentine system. I was gonna list them on Craig's list but was wondering if anyone new what all year models they will work on. The water pump is a short pump. Thanks for any info yall can offer.
