Trouble putting on oil pan screws

I recently removed my oil pan from my 67 c10 to replace the gasket. But I didn't remove the engine. I took off the engine mount bolts and have the engine jacked up a few inches after removing the pan and putting on the new gasket.
BUT my fingers are too big to secure the screws in some of those tight spots. I've tried an extended 7/16 socket but it doesn't have enough grip to secure the screw in the hole so I can tighten. Are there any special tools or tricks to get the oil pan back on?
I bought a Felpro so I have the snap ups on there. Just can't secure all the screws.
