65 c10 pancake bolt up question
I am swapping out the front end of my 65 3/4 GMC with a 90 suburban 1/2 ton. I pancaked the crossmember 1.5" ( 1-7/16 actually).
I have it all welded up and have a question on how to modify the top frame rail to get the top bolts in. The holes are now about in the midddle of the edge of the top of the frame rail. I've searched for pictures for how people have done this, and dont see much. I have a couple ideas, but know I'm not the first Anybody got pictures of how it has been done? And what about the motor mount? Im swapping the 305v6 for a 5.3LS. |
