Brake Hose Help

My brake hoses are way too long (See pic). My calipers and hose are from a 78 C10 which have different fittings and length than the 72 C10's.

78 C10 Hose:
End 1 Thread Size: 0.44 Inch
End 1 Type: Banjo
End 2 Thread Size: 5/8-18, 3/8-24 Inch
End 2 Type: Male, Female
Total Length (In): 22-7/8 Inch

72 C10 Hose:
End 1 Thread Size: 7/16-20 Inch
End 1 Type: Male/Female
End 2 Thread Size: 7/16-24 Inch
End 2 Type: Female
Total Length (In): 13-1/4 Inch

Does anyone know of a shorter hose with the correct fittings for my calipers? Or is it possible to just shorten the hoses I have?
