Testing Frame Paint With A Hammer

I have read on this forum so many things like, "you can't even remove Por15 with a hammer", "powder coat is way stronger than paint", and the list goes on.

I wanted to put my own frame paint, MasterSeries Silver & Topcoat, to the test. To see if it could really take such a blow. Because if it can handle a hammer, show as hell should handle a rock popping up while driving.

So I took my hammer and gave the frame three solid whacks to see if any chipping, cracking, or obvious damage would happen. To be truthful, I was pretty nervous thinking it would do damage but wanted the reassurance the product would withstand a direct hit.

Here's the video (I apologize for filming vertically):

After these three blows the paint didnt chip, didnt scuff (but did dull the paint), and didnt crack. Was this necessary? No, but now I know haha.
