ALDL 160 baud datastream on 86 C10

Hi,
Has anyone ever gotten serial data from 86 Chevy C10 via the ALDL connector?
Just bought a OTC monitor from Ebay (great deal) and hooked it up but comes back with "no data". After some investigation, looked at the ALDL connector under the dash. I only have ping A,B,C,D and F. Nothing in "E". According to other documentation, E provides the 160 baud serial data stream and "M" the 8132 datatstream (if present). Bottom row of connector is all empty, and "E" is also not there. Could it be that 86 C10 (California version) doesn't provide any of that data (no serial datastream)?
