Question What carb to use?

I have a chevy 350 with std. bore, std. crank

300 horse double hump heads w/ 202 valves

COMP CAM 12-239-3
12-239-3 CS X4 262H-11
Lobe separation 111°
Gross valve lift 0.462" Intake @ 0.05
Gross valve lift 0.48" Exhaust @ 0.05
Good low and mid range, excellent response, noticeable idle
RPM operating range 1300-5600

Holley aluminum intake (contender)

I was wondering what Carb you guys thought would work good with this setup. I had a quadrajet on it that came off a 305 and it ran like ****. I'm probably looking at a remanufactured unit due to money reasons, thinking maybe Edelbrock 750 cfm performer series.

It's in an '81 1/2 ton 4x4 Silverado short bed with auto tranny.

Open to any suggestions, and thanks in advance for any help.
