Speedo recalibration
Here's the deal. I have a 3 speed Saginaw trans,3.73 rear gears and BF Goodrich Ta's . I'm not having much luck with calculators since the five and six on my keyboard decided to quit. The tires are 2 fifty five /70/ fifteen. I did manage to find info that says they are 29.1 tall. So It looks like the drive gear is a grey (from what I can find this means fifteen teeth). I'm trying to figure out what driven gear I need to get my speedo close. I had replaced the throwout bearing and got about 200 mi on it then the speedo quit. I started here since I wanted to recalibrate anyway. Since the old driven gear decided to stay in the tranny, I have no idea what color it is.
The other problem I have is finding accurate info on the Saginaw, all I'm finding is for the 700/200R4 or later trans. Hopefully someone will have mercy on me and make up for my keyboard challenged state.
