Re: anybody looking for a rust free original paint k5?
Very nice blazer! That is definitely a collectors dream! I guess the only advice that I could give you if you want to be "talked out of cutting it up", is that trucks that nice and original are beyond rare. Some of the most serious collectors of classic vehicles only want factory original vehicles. By factory original I mean not restored but still with their original factory applied paint, sheet metal, interiors, engines, etc... The good thing about those collectors is they are more than willing to pay for the honor of owning such a rare vehicle. I have been seeing some prices on Blazers lately that have been making my eyes pop out of my head, and I would think if you put that one back together you could get a price above most any other blazer on the market. So even if you aren't personally interested in preserving such a great original example then think of the money that someone who is interested in preserving it would pay. Good luck with whatever direction that you decide to to in.
