First carb rebuild

well I have been thinking I should rebuild my carb for a while now. Its just a Rochester 2 jet so I thought what the heck lets give it a shot. The accelerator pump didn't want to work right anyway.
while I was at it I decided I would pull the valve covers and address the oil leaks and replace the pcv and breather.
I pulled the heater box a while back and just looped the heater hose so I decided I would plug the lines and get rid of the loop...
all was going well until I went to remove the nipple on the water pump and it twisted off with next to no force...
off to the parts store I went new water pump PCV Valve, breather, assortment of grommets, new air cleaner... all in all was not a bad way to spend a Saturday... I rebuilt the carb over the week after work.
I can say after a spin around the block that the carb seems to be running great and no more bog when I punch it!
what's a thread without a few pics.
