Playstation hand controls for paraplegic driver.
My mate Martin has a friend and customer who we do little odd jobs for.
He is a paraplegic, ex fireman who lives on his own but cannot always do things for himself. Recently I made a load of wooden spacers in Oak to raise his lounge suite by 60mm as he still drives a seriously fast Nissan GTR that he uses mainly for track days and needs to practice on the play station for various tracks he visits in the UK and Europe. So the raised furniture means he is mor comfortable. Of course, the Playstation console for car driving is made for able bodied persons only, and there is no system available for paraplegics with hand controls. Here is a video of what Martin built for him. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2...uFUZb1VPN9M&e= I love the fact that this technically puts a disabled person back in the driving seat. Pity there is nothing like this available out there, it was not cheap to build, but will make a difference in the life of a guy who made a difference. Well done Martin. THIS IS MARTINS BUILD THREAD ON HERE. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=611614 I know he is less bothered about showing off, but I am sure that it may give some of you guys ideas.
