2015 Silverado MyLink Bluetooth Issue

Hey guys, just got a new 15 Silverado this week with the MyLink system and I'm having an issue whenever I connect my phone to Bluetooth. The first thing that happens is I get a message on the DIC saying "Listen for Device Response" and no matter how many times I hit exit it comes right back up. It also stops whatever music I'm playing whether it's off my flash drive or the radio. Only when I disconnect the phone does everything go back to normal.

I have a feeling it's my phone and not so much the truck but I'm not entirely sure. I have a Galaxy S5 running Android Lollipop after an upgrade two weeks ago. Anyone else run into this problem? I know the S5 is a pretty popular phone so there has to be someone out there having the same issue.
