59 Apache short fleet cummins project

Well, collection has started on parts and supplies for the build. Nothing much will happen for a while yet. Will take some time I would presume to find everything I need....but stranger things have happened.

So far...dragged home the 59, bought a 67 GM 1 ton 2wd frame, swapped in an 84 front suspension (getting swapped to SRW from DRW), everything is bolted in. Next step is to lay the cab and front clip on the chassis to figure out body mounts. Looks like it should work out to be a super simple swap. This will accomodate the 95 P pump 12V cummins/NV4500 trans, and D80 rear quite well. Will shorten frame when cab and clip are mounted. Hump in frame looks like it should give me no issues what so ever. Hoping the body will drop low over the frame.

Plan is to make this an all around toy.....no real use other than to have fun and cruise in. Mileage is not my main concern....useable power is.
