Suburban frame under a pickup?
Can a Suburban frame be used under a pickup body? I know about the different fuel tank locations, but are the any other major differences? Anyone done this before who could offer some in-depth advice? I came across a cherry, un-tweaked, rust free Suburban 4by4 rolling chasis, with a running 454 c.i.d. installed (in place of the factory 400 SB). All for the price of $500.00. So whatta ya say? Can it be done with minor mods?
