'74 4x4 dump axel questions...

Greetings...

I just picked up a '74 dump that was billed as a 1 ton...definitely 3/4 front end (not "bud" style wheels as we call them all around here, and 8 lugs...). Rear is dually.

Anyway, does anyone know what I've got under here, what the capacities are, and what else they were used in? I'm trying to figure how much I can put in the dump (does have the overload springs, and I'm pretty sure it's all factory...).

I'm assuming the front is a Dana 44...., and am mostly wondering about the rear end (same as 1 ton 2wd, or is it really a 3/4 ton axel as well? What other vehicles might it have been used in? (in case I come across a parts truck ).

Thank you in advance!
