Build 4 of 4... The BIG Dually. ..
Here we go.. yup... the build that ends my builds..
I came across a 67-72 C30 C&C chassis.. I've been toying with the idea of building a contemporary powered 60-66 dually for a long time... :-) The price of free with free delivery was too good to pass up. The Plan..... Taking 30" out of the 157" wheel base and 6" off the tail. That should result in a 127" wheel base and a frame the correct length to take a stock long bed box on it. ![]() I want it much lower than stock, static suspension, able to pull a serious trailer. .. 5th wheel, goose neck or ball and receiver.. Here is the frame. .
