Aftermarket gauges and fiber optic cable

I have aftermarket gauges and a fiber optic cable for my shift Colum light indicator. don't know a clean way of getting around this so that fiber optic cable transmits lite from the bulb connector on the original cluster (ribbon) ... I would like to know a clean way of doing this.. or people that ran this set up would be great... ( maybe drill a hole in one of my aftermarket gauges to put the end of the cable into it?) idk
