how low can we go on the cheap??

here it is..... Daughter lost interest in her 66 LWB, sooooooo...... it's now "MY PROJECT"

mission: I have changed all running gear out to 87 chevy 1/2 ton with power steering and also all the brake system out of the 87 as well. I want to drop it pretty good, straighten out a couple ruff spots and sell it to help fund the 59 build (maybe actually get a chance to see it move on it's own then)!!

question: how low can I get it and not have to do "major surgery" i.e. cupping front arms and such?

my mind is telling me low is COOOOL, but I want good "resale value" also... I'm thinking cutting 1 coil up front with a drop spindle and lowering springs in the rear, I already bought a rear end kit from "Speedway motors" to install the 87 1/2ton rear with an adjustable track bar.

the truck is in good shape hardly any rust & the bed skirts are beat pretty good but the PO already tore the interior out and painted the inside and re installed every thing, it's a runner with the inline 6 still.

what's the masses think?? thanks everyone for any input!!
