NV3500 trans tunnel size requirement

My '62 C10 has the smaller/lower of the two possible transmission tunnels in the cab floor, and I'm replacing the SM420 with an NV3500 out of a '95 C1500 parts truck that I have. I noticed that the transmission tunnel in the '95 donor truck's cab is larger than the one in my '62, but I assume that there was probably only one transmission tunnel hump size for all '95 truck cabs that was designed to be big enough for the largest of all of the transmissions available that model year, so I don't want to just assume that I will have to convert my '62 cab to the higher trans tunnel/hump.

I want to finish working on the cab's interior over the Thanksgiving holiday, so I need to order the carpet kit, but will have to specify whether I want the one made to fit the low transmission tunnel or the high transmission tunnel. If any of you have done the NV3500 swap into a '60-'63 and know if the NV3500 requires the higher transmission tunnel hump, and also if I'll need to access the top side of the transmission through the cab floor during the swap, please reply so I'l know which version of the carpet kit to order, and whether or not I'll need to wait to glue the carpet and sound deadener down until after I've completed the tranny swap.
