New member, new to me truck
I have had my Dad's 1965 C10 truck picked up and it is on it's way to my house in Maryland. He bought it in 1968, so it has been in the family for almost 50 years. My mom said if I didn't take it, she was going to sell it. I just couldn't let it leave the family. The engine is not working but the rest of it is pretty good, being a California car all it's life. My plans are to get it running and safe and to keep it as close to the same as it sits.
I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi, since I am sure i will have plenty of questions.
One question I had was what are the East Coast events I should plan to attend like Carlisle?
