Steering Column Swap

I've searched the steering column threads and have a question.
I have a '70 C-10 and I've found a tilt column from a '74 2WD Blazer.
Other than the ignition and neutral safety, will this column fit?
I figure I'll have to collapse the intermediate shaft. I saw one thread that talked about some columns being a larger diameter than the original. Looks like this one could be a little larger than original.
Has anyone done a swap like this?

Thanks in advance.
