Windshield seal

I bought a 69 C/10 that is a bit of a mutt and has a door, door panels, rear axels and differential from a 72. To be honest at this point even though the vin # on the plate inside the drivers door on the cab matches the 1969 stamped number on the frame under the hood I'm not convinced that the cab is from the 69. Is there a way to physically tell cabs apart from the 69-70 years to the 71-72 years The reason I'm asking is I need to change out the windshield seal and the parts apparently are different according to Steele rubbers web site. One part is for 67-70 and the other part for 71-72. I need to figure out which seal I need to buy. I'm suspicious because the seal on it now fits terribly on the inside of the cab but looks ok on the outside.
