upclose pics of 65 stepside bed w/out wood

Going to redo the wood in my bed
Looks as if the ass end and front inner are saging and are no longer flat so I have to fix that
And the welded side support L channel metal will be cut out and replaced

The front looks like there is supposed to be a strip of metal or something connecting the front of the bed(inside) to the frame

Will take pics of mine in the sunlight tomorrow

Also didn't realize there wasn't any real cross support
