Longer Wheel Studs
I have searched all over this forum, Google, Bing, Slummit Racing, Jeg's, Dorman...etc.
This has to be the place to ask since all the drag truck cats MUST have longer studs to race. When I was racing a 1971 ElCamino SS back in the 90's, finding longer wheel studs for that rig was as easy as going down to the local parts store or tire shop and picking some up and pressing them in. I can't find any that are the length I want to come through the lug nut like in a racing application to be NHRA legal. I plan on making some passes in the truck once it's back up and running, so I will need longer wheel studs. I will be using stock discs (1972 GMC) up front and have Moser axles out back. I have old school ET 15x10 slot mags out back and will be running some sort of DOT radial drag tire. 15x7 ET slots up front. Where in the wide world of sports is a cat to find longer studs? Gary
