Speedo cable length?

My '69 C10 came to me with a Muncie M21 installed. It originally had the speedo output on the driver's side and the stock speedo cable just barely fit.
I had to rebuild the transmission immediately and the rebuild included a new tailpiece for the transmission which I accepted because it was a good deal. The only issue is that the tail piece has the speedo output on the passenger's side which requires a longer cable, by about a foot. Ill pull the old cable out and measure it this weekend, but it would be great if someone knew what length the stock was off the top of their heads so that I could have a new, longer one waiting for installation this weekend. Also, if anyone has a source for a new cable that is longer than stock, I would appreciate any advice. I have seen cut-to fit kits for lots of money.

Thanks again guys,
John
