1969 Chevy SWB Fleetside truck project
I had 2 buyers for the truck, but things didn't work out for either one to come get it, so I'm posting this again.
I was planning to do a frame up resto, but I: 1. don't have the time with 2 kids, a wife, etc... 2. am finishing my basement and need the space 3. need to get my GN ready for the nats in May. -The truck was in good running condition when I picked it up. -The attached picture is from the day I got it a few months ago. Here are the particulars: Good '69 VIN. -The original cab has rust in the regular spots -Doors are decent, but have a couple of small rust spots at the bottoms (not the ones pictured) -Engine is a 350 that was rebuilt in Feb of last year, but only has 2 months of use on it. -Truck is an auto with a good tranny and also has PS and PB. -I have a good bed floor in epoxy primer that just needs a little more work on some pits (no holes). -2 bench seats (one not so good, but the other just needs a new cover). -2 CST door panels -2 gauge clusters (one with ALL gauges working) -all glass is good. Basically just needs fenders, bedsides, a tailgate, and grille to put back together ***All nuts/bolts/parts removed from the truck are bagged and labled for reassembly. -$2200 invested. Price: $1000 for all including service manual, etc... Or, if someone has some nice Torq Thrust II wheels/tires in a 17x8 with 4" BS, I would work a trade. Please call (770)537-9780 or email if interested.
