Suburban Rear End Questions
Did some searching, but couldn't find the answers, so I'll just ask...
I have a '72 C10 350/350 (2wd, 5 lug) suburban with no listed rear end option on the glove box sheet. I have a '70 C20 350/ 4 speed (2wd, 8 lug) suburban with "no slip rear end" on the glove box sheet. My questions are..... 1) What would the gear ratios be for each 'burb? 2) Does the "no slip" mean it's a Detroit locker? 3) Are these interchangable? 4) What differance would it make if they are interchangable? I should also mention that it is the '72 that I am currently restoring. I'm thinking no slip would be good for the '72, cause who want to see just one black mark on the pavement!!
