Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build
Well I purchased the HP adder for my engine yesterday... Got a deal on a Vortech V4Z model that is capable of 1450 HORSEPOWER!!!! - not in my truck.... thats insane!
MAX 2000 CFM and 32 Lbs of boost - Also a little bit insane... I will be running maybe 10 PSI boost maximum but that will still get my little 509 down the road in a hurry. I dont think anybody will be honking at me to move along!!! The guy threw in an extra cog belt and smaller pulley (for racing) and a blow-through carb. Turned out to be a great deal. The whole system came off a 1969 Street Camaro 540" BBC running about 1000 HP at the rear end!!! Street cars are not what they used to BE!!!! WOW!
