What did you do with your truck today, take 2

Sat. I removed my windshield ,I expected the worst, weather stripping was all cracked in the lower corners and rock hard.
I was surprised to only find one bad spot in the upper pass. side corner , about 1" x 1/4" hole along the lip. looked like it was caused by a mouse nest up in the corner. The rest of the lip around the windshield looked new no surface rust whatsoever. I made a little patch for it but wasn't able to weld it in due to being a little to windy for my liking.
Scored a nice used windshield off CL, last night. The guy was asking $100, he also had a pair of door he was asking $350 for the pair, both needed the bottoms repaired, got all for $250 pkg. deal couldn't pass it up.
My windshield was marginal, had a 4" crack, and about 5 chips. My doors are ok but the drivers looked like it had been sprung open and someone had tried to straighten the edge with a pair of vice grips.
Hope the wind will be calm and cooperate this weekend , I'm at the mercy of the weather out in the driveway .
