Well, I might as well tell you a bit about my truck since im the new guy :)

Hey there! I am new to this board I usually troll turbododge.com and vwvortex.com boards i thought i might as well be on the one for the truck ive come to love.
I have a 1968 gmc 910 ( i think thats a 1/2 ton well im pretty sure) I got the truck for grad (the tow from our farm to our home in the city ...about 80 miles)

As it started, a 6cyl 3 on the tree, butchered tired beaten up etc the engine was blown, the 3 on the tree was trashed and no longer in the car , somebody put a 1 ton dump truck transmission in with good ole bull low first gear, mice nested everywhere. seat destroyed broken windshield, lots of fun instore! I got it home tore it apart blah bla hblah, alot has been done to it so far.

First and foremost, engine wise i was going to make a 302 chev and maybe a 283, but decided good ole cheapo 350! it has kb hypereutectic 6cc dome pistons, clevite bearings, rol gaskets blah blah, high flow oilpump, comp XE256-h10 cam, rebuilt everything from there i found a 12" graintruck clutch, tossed that in, got a camaro super t10 transmission and cast bellhousing ? Racing gear reduction starter (mini starters rule) longtube 1 7/8 headers
The engine is set back 4 inches in the frame to clear the headers etc, and the distributor just fits ill tell ya, the driveshaft is custom length, still 2 piece all rebuilt, new bearings seals and all that in the rear end and powertrain 3.23 gears and a limited slip carrier in the pumpkin. we had to change all the braking parts this thing sat for 20 years in our field hahaha....
i have mustang bucket seats with power bolsters (88?gt)
put in one of those gay 13" steering wheels from grant, new dash pad, new windshield blah blah blah just parts galore, the wheels are from a jeep wagoneer i polished them up a bit, with crappy cooper cobra 255 60 15 tires.... basically alot of works gone into it, im now mostly caught up on my debt and ready to dump a buncha money into the truck again for some fun
ill include some pictures for my pleasure

i hope you enjoy it as much as i have so far
