Ball Joint problem

Im in the process of a full frame off restoration of my 1965 c10. Ive encountered a problem with the front suspension. I completely redid the entire suspension. ball joints tie rod ends etc. keeping stock control arms and switched to air bags. I was working on it yesterday and one of the ball joints i had previously installed had popped out the bottom. the entire casing of the ball joint has come loose from the lower control arm. Im glad i noticed this before getting on the road. ive done some searching on the forums found a few solutions that might work.

1 Over sized balljoints. I cant seem to find any for my application.

2 New control arm, im not against this. Ive found plenty of lower control arms for 1975-1986 for around $63 new part number from dorman is 520-113, would this year fit the 60-66? It looks the same. Im not against getting a set of tubular control arms either just trying to save money, any that you would recommend.

3 Which sounds a littly sketchy but ive heard of people welding the ball joint in place

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
