winer diner 1969 GMC

Figured I should start a thread to keep track of this truck. The truck was originally purchased last year by my girlfriend as she wanted a vehicle of her own to go on cruises with and really just to have something cool to drive in the summer.

The plan for this year:
1. 4/6 drop
2. disc and 5 lug conversion
3. front sway bar
4. wheels and tires
5. under bed fuel tank with fill location on bedside
6. head unit under dash (keeping factory radio in place)
7. potentially some exhaust work and mild engine upgrades.
8. DRIVE IT

The truck was bought with a fairly new (40,000 km) 350 crate engine and rebuilt th400. truck runs and drives great but will definitely be night and day once the suspension upgrades are complete.

During the winter I'll be starting the body work. and overall detail of the truck. we'll likely open up the motor at that time to warm it up some.

Onto some pics.

1st and 2nd is the day she got it
