Window channels - Perhaps I've been ripped off
Perhaps nothing, I was..............The guy said they had one pair of NOS and the rest repros. I took the "NOS". Had I known they were not in a GM package I wouldn't have blown $135 shipped. I can get "NOS" out of a bag for nearly half that price. I didn't think to confirm they were packaged (ooops), but he made it clear they were NOS. Seriously, how the heck does he know?
I realize these may harden after conforming to the frame for so long, but I wouldn't have expected "NOS" to be so flat. As far as I can tell the originals never were. They don't spread apart much along the channel, and fold right back into place as if they came that way .....Could be dirt and grease, but the originals feel much heavier than I'd have expect too. The guy is going to hear from me regardless. They're either NOS with no bags or impostors. Any insight is appreciated. The image doesn't say much. The channel in the center is original. The not sure are on either side, one up the other down. Thanks.
