1965 C30 Parking Brake lever question
Hello all, I went to adjust my parking brake, and realized that I've only got half the travel I should with the lever, because it hits the dashboard when letting it out.
Anyone know if this is the wrong lever, turned around backwards, etc? I pulled off the rubber handlegrip since it was sticking up an extra inch or so, but it still hits the dash. I can shimmy it around behind it without the rubber grip on, and I'm able to tell that is the correct amount of travel. However, this would be very tiresome to do in practice. I was wondering if the release-lever grip was supposed to be on the dash side, as I've normally seen vehicles set up that way. Worst case, I may have to cut part of the top off of the lever.
