5-lug rally wheel caps with chrome face
These have the correct part numbers (14018276-80) on the inside. There are total of 10-12 scrapes/scratches in the chrome, but these are minor. There's some light pitting on #3 and #4, especially on #4, but even that just surrounds one lug hole (bottom lug in pic.). #4 also has some waves on top (pictured). Overall the chrome on these is an 8 of 10, I've seen worse on NOS, pitting or otherwise. There's some oxidation in areas and all probably remove with a good chrome polish (e.g., 3M).
I put them in order of best (1) to worst (4), though you can't see much in the way of blemishes. Other than #4, there's not much there. These would make for a nice addition to a clean driver. Any suggestions of value, and does anyone know their history? The majority of caps I've seen have a painted face, while these are chrome..........I realize rally wheels were not stock for 67-72, they just look right. Thank you.
