steering gear boxes
My 83 has crossover steering and thus a 2wd gearbox it also has vac assist brakes. The 86 K30 I am taking parts off of has hydro boost brakes with a 4wd gearbox.
Are the steering gear boxes different between the vac assist and hydro boost brakes? I want to swap the following from the 86 into my 83: Pedal assembly, hydro boost assembly and the power steering pump. I want to keep the 2wd steering gear box. With them both in the 80s I think they have the metric fittings on the hoses. Thanks,
