55 SWB body, but no frame/chassis- need advice
Guys I am new here and this is a great forum. I just picked up a 55 SWB with a one piece fiberglass bed. Truck is in good shape but it is only the body. I need a frame/chassis. I have heard the 703-87 C10 is a good option but there are concerns about the track width up front? I want to lower it but not slam it. I can do a lot of the work myself and want to get it up and running.
I have looked for stock frame in the area but come up empty. I am really looking for some input and hopefully connect with someone that has done this swap.
