Powder coating - any "standard" colors? Can I topcoat powdercoat?
So a week after dropping my wheels off at Les Scwab along with the GM, Ditzler, and PPG color codes, I get a voicemail saying I have to pick a color because paint colors "don't mean anything to them".
I guess most trailers just have white wheels. But I'm not very experienced with powder coating. Can they mix and match colors? I can tell them to match what's on the wheels now, but that's pointless if they're only choice is "bright white" on a color card. Not quite sure what to do. My suspicion is that I should have them do them in something I can paint (like a primer power if there is such a thing) and then shoot the right single-stage color overtop of them myself. Or if all powdercoating can be topcoated, I could have them do them in their white and then paint the right white on the faces.
