65 GMC Ignition switch

Hello Guys,

I am trying to find a replacement ignition switch for our 65 GMC p/u. The ones I have ordered have been different than the original. The prongs on the one that came out of the truck match the plug on the harness which seems like it is original. There are five prongs coming out of the back of the switch. The ones I ordered to replace them have six prongs and they are in a different pattern.

I can't load pics but the pattern on the one that cam out of the truck has four prongs. Two are facing sideways, and two are running up and down....the replacements all have 5 or 6 prongs and they only have one of the prongs facing sideways relative to the others.

ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS??
