I have recently purchased a 73 gmc 2500 and thinking about making a dually out of it. Its a coil spring rear end with the factory helper springs and very large axle under it. havent had time to figure out which axle it is. Who has done this type of swap and how did it work out for ya. Fixing to crawl under it and try to find some marking on rear end, jus wanted to start a tread to get some suggestions on this idea. will update what i have when i am done inspecting. Thanks Gang!
