transmission mount

i just got ready to pull the motor and transmission out my 65 today and i crawled under it and seen what was holding the transmission in. somebody took a piece of 1/4 metel and drilled 2 holes in it. one for the crossmeber and one for the transmission. i looked back at the drive shaft and it looked like it was cocked to the side a little bit. i would say its becuase this mount has nothing to hold it form moving. this transmission is a th350 short shaft. i looked and the transmission mount is bout 2 inches away form the crossmeber .

what are you guys useing for a transmission mount . do i need to move the crossmeber up? pics would help also thanks guys moose
