700r4 troubles

I have had this tranny for about 2 years. Still shifts real strong and the tv cable has been set in the same position since install. My problem is that for about a month now, since I got my new job 50 miles away, the converter keeps locking-unlocking at highway speeds. Its getting real annoying. I have checked the fluid, unhooked the vacuum deal for converter lockup and hooked it direct to 12 volts. Still same thing. I changed fluid and filter. Same. It hasn't done this before. Anybody had any problems like this before? What about the pressure sender? that I saw in when I had the pan off, going out? Tranny was new rebuilt when installed and like I said still shifts strong. Just don't want to burn another one up because of excess heat of converter slipping.
