Another new guy, thank you!

Thank you for allowing me to register and join this group. I semi retired in May 2014 and I had always wanted to do a complete frame off restoration of a vehicle. After I retired, I located and purchased a 1969 C10 short box fleet side p/u. The first year my son and I drove it and talked about plans to fix it up and make it a better looking/running driver. The following year, 2015, we decided to try a complete frame off restoration. We disassembled the truck, took lots of photos while we made pieces out of it. We tagged and bagged all of the parts. I took the frame and had it blasted and powder coated and brought it home and started the reassembly process. We have made LOTS of progress (I will attempt to post some pictures). I was really hoping to have completed the truck by the fall here and take it for a ride before putting it away for the winter. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The up side to that is that I now have all winter to complete it and given that I live in Minnesota, I hope that it will be enough time to get it done. Thanks again!!
