Air ride frame question?

I don't know if this is the proper place for this question but I have a 1965 c10 short box. My question is if am going to run air ride and am going too cnotch the frame. Is a small cnotch the way to go with air bags on the trailing arms. Or go with a cnotch with a bridge and bags over axle? I am looking to run a motor with around 400 to 500 hp and am somewhat worried about stregth. What do you guys recommend?
