starter prob or heat soak...

I know this is an on going thing with some people. Sorry to bring it up again..
My blazer starter was good for a while in the fall till now. Because of this before, I had put a new AAW wire kit in and took VV advice and changed the wiring set up a little(based on the mad electrical way).I had put a heat wrap around the solenoid and It was good to go with the heat soak problem. About a month ago I replaced my alt. with a 140 amp alt. from summit, since I will be adding some new toys to the electrical.. Now all of a sudden my starter is acting up again like its got heat soak and its the middle of the winter. It started last week when I turned the key and all the starter did was spin. then it clicked when I hit it again and then for the third time it kicked over. Every once in a while it does this. Then today I had stopped at DD to get a coffee and when I hoped back in the truck it just clicked like heat soak and it took me some time for it to cool and then it would start. So my question. Is my starter going or is it heat soak again? Thanks and Happy New year!
